Operational Assurance

Setup and day-to-day operation guidance for reliable performance:

• App and pairing: Install the ROLA App (scan manual QR or search the store). Register with phone or email, then add and pair EBO SE in the ROLA App. The EBO SE will not work with the EBO Home App.
• Docking and charging: EBO SE uses infrared to locate its dock. For consistent auto-recharge, place the dock on a flat, clutter-free surface in the same open area the robot operates. Avoid mirrors or reflective objects near the dock that can interfere with IR signals.
• Placement tips: Keep the dock and robot in the same room when possible; if the robot and dock are in separate rooms docking may fail. After manual use, driving EBO SE close to the dock improves successful IR acquisition.
• Connectivity troubleshooting: If the robot disconnects, move it closer to the router and/or try a different Wi‑Fi network. Ensure a stable 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi connection as required by the ROLA App.
• Motion detection & notifications: Motion events are detected locally and pushed through the ROLA App. Verify notification permissions and network access on your phone for timely alerts.
• Storage & privacy: The unit ships with a 16 GB microSD installed; it supports up to 256 GB. Data is stored on the SD card—ROLA App does not access user files remotely. When servicing or returning units, remove and retain your SD card if you need to preserve files.
• Return and replacement notes: If you request a replacement, Enabot may ship a replacement unit without your inserted SD card—keep backups of important files. If you return a unit with an SD card, the replacement may include a formatted card with no user files. Package the unit securely for return to avoid damage in transit.
